Apyone Pan (Helpline) Services –
• Legal Advice – Free consultation services are provided by High Court Advocates for legal matters
• Effective Response-Assistance and support are provided by understanding the most critical needs of those experiencing violence and prioritizing their wishes.
• Personal Information Security- Personal information is kept strictly confidential at all times, with respect for the dignity and safety of survivors. Information about children is shared only as necessary and with the consent of their guardians.
• Comprehensive Support- Support is provided in collaboration with relevant organizations, including safety and security, psychological counseling, connections to shelters, legal aid for justice, information sharing, and other assistance services.
• Accessibility- On our Facebook page, video files explaining forms of violence in Myanmar Sign Language are presented to ensure understanding for everyone, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Sign language interpreters are also arranged for those who have difficulty speaking.
