This comprehensive Basic MSL Training, designed by experts in the disability and legal sectors, provides participants with the essential communication tools and cultural knowledge needed to interact confidently with Deaf individuals in Myanmar.
The primary goal of this course is to move participants from zero knowledge to being able to hold simple, everyday conversations, thereby fostering a more inclusive environment in both social and professional settings.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Fluently sign the complete Myanmar manual alphabet (finger spelling).
Understand and use over 300 common signs related to daily life, greetings, time, and numbers.
Form basic questions and statements using core MSL grammatical structure.
Understand and respect the cultural norms and communication methods of the Myanmar Deaf community.
Especially those in Customer Service, HR, and front-line roles.
